Experience both sizzle and substance as the Frost Concert Jazz Orchestra and a wealth of special guest artists perform fabulous jazz arrangements and compositions by Studio Jazz Writing Program Director, Professor Gary Lindsay. His professional arranging portfolio includes recordings with Natalie Cole, Arturo Sandoval, Maynard Ferguson, Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, Gloria Estefan, The Airmen of Note, South Florida Jazz Orchestra, and many more. He is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts award, a Chamber Music America grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and was a Grammy Award nominee in arranging for the jazz classic “Cherokee” from the Arturo Sandoval album I Remember Clifford. Many of his former and current students have also earned Latin Grammy and Grammy nominations and awards.
