"Mays at the Movies" featuring the Bill Mays Trio
Based on his recent CD, Mays at the Movies, the Bill Mays Trio will perform excerpts from some of the scores of American’s most popular movies. A jazz pianist, composer and arranger, Mays, has played with the best of the jazz world including stints as accompanist for Sara Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, Woody Herman and Gerry Mulligan. Other scores to which he has contributed include "Charade", "The Sandpiper", "Spartacus", "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory", "Fargo" and "Julie and Julia."
